Titan passed two years ago and at this time last year the city proceeded to send me his annual licensing fee. It clearly stated on the back to disregard the notice if you no longer owned the dog. Which I did. I felt I shouldn’t have to call the city and tell them. They should know. However, this year, I got a bill for license renewal again. Including a secondary bill reading “pass due” for last year. Now it is up to me to inform the city. Why isn’t the city more proactive? Why does the vet clinic not complementary inform them for you. Grieving pet owners shouldn’t have to deal with the city after their dog passes away.
