Weimaraners are known for their light-taupe colored  coats and fair skin.  But did you know that the sun actually causes the weimaraner to get a tan?!  Weimaraners coat will get darker brown in the sun and some Weim’s also develop a tiger stripe – or dark line down the middle of their back.  The brown fur and tiger stripe are more common in the summer and fade in seasons with less natural sunlight.
